Equitrader is embarking on a new marketing campaign centered on competition sponsorship. What's
unique about this campaign is that we're opening it up to you, the member base, to participate in
the campaign and share in the upside. Our objective is to use the member base to help fill
sponsorship opportunities for the trading competitions hosted here at Equitrader. The
reward to you is a revenue share with Equitrader for the first year of sponsorship. There's
a great variety of sponsorship opportunities available at Equitrader covering every kind of
competition (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annual, Capital Quest & Collegiate Challenge).
This campaign is open to any Equitrader member. If you are not already a member all you need
to do is register. The campaign will run from June 1st through December 31st, 2009.
Equitrader is looking for sponsors for its simulated and real market competitions and
tournaments. Equitrader is actively seeking sponsors who will be attracted to our
member base and whose product or service can provide benefit to our members. While
the best fit might seem like financial services companies (i.e. Etrade) that is not
mandatory. A potential sponsor could be a company like Apple or Google. We are
looking for qualified leads (contact name, company name, phone & email) that
have shown an interest in sponsoring a competition.
The incentive will be a revenue sharing arrangement for members provide us with
potential sponsor candidates. If the potential sponsor agrees to enter into a
sponsorship contract with Equitrader, members will receive 50 percent of all
sponsorship cash based contractual revenue for the first 6 months of sponsorship
and 25 percent of all sponsorship cash based contractual for the second 6 months
of sponsorship.
Example: A member provides Google as a potential sponsor for MTC42 at $1,000. If
Equitrader is able to sign Google as a sponsor, the member will received $500
(50 percent * $1,000). At the end of MTC42, let's say that Google decides to
sponsor MTC43 at the same amount. The same member will receive another $500
(50 percent * $1,000). If Google comes back 6 months later and signs another
contract for MTC49 for another $1,000, the member would receive $250 (25 percent * $1,000).
Members will receive payment at the end of the sponsored event. We will follow the
normal Equitrader prize payment policy (minus the affidavit). Payments will be
made via Paypal.
We feel this is a great opportunity to help Equitrader grow as a business and to
reward the members that are responsible for helping us grow.

location for banner advertisements. We will accept up to ten unique
banner ads to be placed in each location and rotate ad content as requested.
The following screen shots represent the ad placement reserved for private sponsors during trading competitions.
The home page has three prominent sponsor
logos. The current tournament (e.g. Collegiate Challenge, Big
12 Challenge, etc.) is advertised on the top center of the window and
will prominently feature the tournament sponsor. The Capital Quest
advertisement is permanently placed on the home page and will prominently
feature the Capital Quest sponsor. Finally, the ‘highlighted
competitions’ on the bottom of the page are listed and will include
a “sponsored by” logo/text link.
The portfolio pages display a summary
of all the events with the current events that user has registered for
on the top. This page allows the member to view their past competition
results and register for upcoming competitions.

Since a tournament at Equitrader is comprised
of one or more competitions (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly)
A sponsor of a tournament will have exposure at every competition that
comprises the tournament. For example, if a tournament
has four weekly competitions, the tournament sponsor will have visibility
on all the tournament pages as well as visibility as a competition sponsor
for each of the four competitions in the tournament.
